Welcome to “Catalytic & Sensing Materials” laboratory led by Prof. Yonghui Deng at Department of Chemistry, Fudan University. Our group focuses on the designed synthesis of nanomaterials with engineered nanostructures, integrated functionalities, tailored composition, tuneable surface/interfacial properties for applications in heterogeneous catalysis and/or gas sensing nanodevices. Our research involves polymer chemistry, colloid and interface sciences, catalysis and materials sciences and the main research interests include:
High-performance nanostructured (porous, hollow, low-dimensional, heterostructured) semiconducting metal oxides: tailored synthesis toward high sensing performance;
Innovative heterogeneous (porous, core-shell, yolk-shell, hollow) catalytic nanomaterials: new concept, new nanocatalyst systems;
Biomedicine, food safety, environmental monitoring nanodevices based on catalytic and sensing nanomaterials.
